Private Full-Day Safari

For serious wildlife enthusiasts and photographers, three hours simply isn’t enough. Our full-day safari gives you the luxury of time. We start at dawn when predator activity is highest and the light is soft, and stay through the golden hour of the late afternoon when the huge elephant herds gather.

What You’ll See

By spending a full day in the park, you dramatically increase your chances of seeing elusive wildlife:

• Massive elephant herds across different lighting conditions
• Predators such as leopards and sloth bears (best seen at dawn)
• A vast array of birdlife active at different times of the day
• Endemic reptiles and amphibians

Itinerary

• 05:30 - Early morning pickup from your hotel.
• 06:00 - 10:00 - Morning game drive. This is the best time for bird watching and spotting elusive predators before the heat sets in.
• 10:00 - 14:00 - Mid-day break. We find a scenic, safe spot near a river or lake for a packed picnic lunch and relaxation. (You can also opt to return to your hotel for lunch).
• 14:00 - 18:00 - Afternoon game drive. We shift focus to tracking the large elephant herds as they move towards the water.
• 18:30 - Drop-off back at your hotel.
